Nicole Lepine

LHR Fire Protection

"My advice to the young women in this industry is to never forget we belong here too! The construction industry is always evolving, and women are making their mark in every role, from the field to the boardroom. Don't be afraid to speak up, ask questions, and advocate for yourself. You bring value, perspective, and strength to the work. Seek out people who inspire you-women and men alike—and learn from them. Surround yourself with those who support your growth and encourage you to aim high. Lastly, stay curious. Knowledge builds confidence and confidence builds leadership."

As a Project Coordinator at LHR Fire Protection, Nicole Lepine oversees the installation of projects from the bidding phase to completion, ensuring a smooth workflow throughout all stages. Her responsibilities include assisting in project estimation, construction administration, and tracking progress through key steps such as design, stamping, and permitting. She maintains regular communication with customers to keep them informed about the status of their projects and helps manage the installation schedule to ensure timely execution. Nicole also oversees monthly project accounting, preparing requisitions, and following up on payments. She coordinates closely with General Contractors and provides additional support in office operations.

In addition to coordinating projects, she manages the company's vehicle fleet data and programs, tracks agent renewals, and certifications related to installations. Furthermore, Nicole helps manage the apprenticeship program by ensuring that participants are properly registered, complete required testing, and stay on track with their training.

Before joining LHR, Nicole gained valuable experience as an Estimating Assistant and a Project Manager Assistant. In these roles, she frequently communicated with subcontractors and clients to clarify project requirements, scope, and objectives, and attended site visits and public bid openings for Government projects. Her ability to manage details while supporting multiple teams has made her a reliable and valuable contributor to every project she has worked on.

Nicole joined NAWIC because she is passionate about supporting and empowering women in the construction industry. As this field has traditionally been male-dominated, she believes organizations like NAWIC are crucial for fostering community, providing resources, and creating opportunities for growth and leadership. By being part of this network, she hopes to connect with other women who share similar experiences and challenges.

Nicole lives in Derry, NH, with her two children. She is actively involved in her community, serving on several local boards and volunteering whenever possible. In her free time, she enjoys thrifting, spending quality time with her family, and attending live concerts and theater performances.
