Maria Votto is celebratung her 23rd year as the Human Resources Director for Waterline Industries Corp, an employee-owned wastewater and water treatment general contractor in Seabrook, NH.
She has been in Human Resources since way back when it was called Personnel! Coincidentally, her previous employment was with an engineering firm who was on the design and operations side of wastewater and water treatment facilities. She has worn many hats in her role as HR Director including being on the safety committee, serving on the Executive Committee, assisting in the development and implementation of an apprentice program, as well as keeping up to date with policies and procedures in the ever-changing world of HR.
Waterline joined NAWIC as a corporate member back in 2017 as the organization sought to bring in more women and NAWIC had so many resources to explore and likeminded professionals to gather and learn information from.
Maria lives in Brentwood, NH with her husband of 32 years, Mark. She has one daughter (and best friend) Alyssa, who lives in Portsmouth with her “granddog”, Betty. Maria is an avid musician who enjoys playing guitar and singing and is the proud author of a bestselling children’s holiday book.
