Lorinda Gilbert
St. Mary's Bank
“I would encourage young women getting into the construction industry to think outside the box. Find what you are passionate about and how that relates to building things and find a role that combines that."
Lorinda Gilbert is the Construction Loan Administrator at St. Mary’s Bank where she manages all of the residential and commercial projects being funded with loans from the nation’s first credit union.
Working to support homeowners, builders, and business owners, Lorinda is passionate about bringing dreams and concepts to life. She brings a unique skill set to construction lending; before working in banking, she was a real estate paralegal for commercial development projects.
Lorinda was inspired to join NAWIC in 2022 after learning about the powerful networking and collaboration taking place among a group of talented women. Lorinda enjoys attending networking and industry events, representing not only St. Mary’s Bank but the New Hampshire Homebuilders Association and NAWIC.
Lorinda lives in Concord, NH where she is finishing remodeling her parents’ house and spending the summer bringing her mom’s flower beds back to life. She has a daughter, Alyssa, who is 28 and lives in Seattle with her family – including her granddaughter, Ella, now 3.
