Christal A. Ripley

With over a decade of experience in the construction industry, I am a dedicated professional currently serving as the Gas Construction Supervisor at Unitil in Portsmouth, NH. In this role, I lead our department and manage a variety of projects, ensuring quality and efficiency in every job. Previously, as a Project Leader, I leveraged my expertise in project planning to drive the success of our natural gas construction initiatives. I have served in several other capacities at another utility, including Work Coordinator for Overhead Lines Department on the electric side of the business and Senior Customer Service Representative for both gas and electric.

My passion for construction began at a very young age at E.M. Thibault Excavation, Inc., a small, family-run excavation company, where I embraced continuous growth.  While working there, I took on diverse responsibilities from performing excavation work and installing water and sewer mains to handling equipment maintenance, enforcing safety protocols, and managing estimates and financial operations. I further strengthened my hands-on expertise by obtaining hoisting license to operate a variety of machines and obtained CDL while working in the field.

I believe that a diverse background, coupled with a commitment to continuous growth, has earned me the respect of my peers and reinforced my conviction that hard work and passion are the foundation for success in construction.

I joined the NAWIC Granite State Chapter #218 in 2024 to get more connected to other women in the construction industry and to try to have an impact on upcoming women within the industry.

I live in Lowell, Ma with my husband and beautiful 12 year old daughter and our new English Bulldog Puppy Diesel. I love baking, spending time with my family, and creating memories that will last a lifetime.
