On weekends they spend time mountain biking, cycling, or hiking, and in the winter, they can be found on the slopes skiing or in the backcountry cross-country skiing. They spend time traveling in their teardrop camper as well. When not on an outdoor adventure, Alicia spends a lot of time behind the lens capturing wildlife, especially owls and hummingbirds. She is very close to her son, Christopher, who joins her on many outdoor adventures, and has a stepson Alec, who lives in Alaska.
